Kyra Hunsberger (9th Grader) wins the 2013 Nature's Bakery Nevada Twilight XC Classic.

Kyra was up against Douglas HS Lindsey Adams (2011? NiAA XC Girls Champion) in a fierce head to head dual until Kyra was able to pull away.

Lindsey Adams skipped last year XC in favor of soccer, but it is good to see her returning to XC.

The future match ups between Kyra and Lindsey should provide enough spark to keep the favorites in South Nevada pay attention to the talent up North.

Kyra finished 9th in the 2012 USA Track and Field Junior Olympics XC Championships held at Alburquerque, NM for Youth Girls and is an accomplished National age group triathlete.
